Climb Catbells
The first Wainwright for many a hillwalker. You will find Catbells easily accessible. Your short stiff climb is rewarded by fantastic views over Derwent Water. The Skiddaw massif towers over Keswick. Dozens more hill adventures are visible, lying in wait further up the Borrowdale valley, with your Laser Mountain Map to guide you!
Go rock climbing in Borrowdale
Borrowdale is a mecca for rock climbers in the Lake District. The easily accessible valley crag of Shepherd’s Crag with its classic Little Chamonix and dozens more besides. Or other classics a modest walk away like Troutdale Pinnacle on Black Crag, or Corvus on Raven Crag. Quality bouldering on the Bowderstone. Challenging test pieces on Goat Crag and Quayfoot Buttress.
